STRAIGHT FROM THE HORSE'S MOUTH!!!

Democracy is based on the fundamental values of individual liberty and responsibility. Our complacency has allowed big government to erode our liberty and deny us our responsibilities.

Social Security should be a savings plan. The ponzi/pyramid scheme we have now, where those working pay for those who are retired and hope someone will pay for them later on, is madness. Individuals should pay in and withdraw on their own monies. This creates the natural incentives to manage intelligently and puts the responsibility and ownership where it belongs. A portion of the mandatory savings could be set aside for those who need a helping hand and we will not allow anyone to fall through the cracks.

The U.S. has allowed itself to be steered on a dangerous course of spiraling entitlement costs. Liberals are waging a war on responsibility and freedom. It's time to fight back! Government's role should be only where absolutely necessary and as a last resort. The Federal Government has a role in setting goals and establishing leadership on national policy issues. Instead we have allowed Big Government to put its hands on all areas of life. Big Government has never been a reliable safe guard of prosperity, health, education, or help for the needy. If individuals and communities don't take responsibility for their families, communities, towns, cities and our national interest, NO ONE ELSE WILL!!! Time and again we've been sold out to the highest bidder and lied to by corrupt politicians in both parties. We have allowed our nation to borrow 5.7 TRILLION dollars. We pay interest on that every year! It's time to pay down the debt, get the nation on firm financial footing, and return individual freedom and responsibility. We must stop relying on Big Government and it's system of entitlements that has enslaved us all.

There is no such thing as a free lunch. Health Care isn't free, retirement isn't free, and education isn't free. We can delude ourselves by talking about the "right" to affordable health care and the "right" to education. We try to convince ourselves that someone out there is going to take care of everything. But it is up to each one of us, that is the foundation of Democracy. We the people, must figure out how to continue innovation and advancement in health care, education, and economic prosperity. We allow companies to compete and get the best prices on the best products through competition, and yet we deny this same competition to the most important areas of our lives. We the people need to take responsibility for ourselves, for our families, for out communities, and for our country.

The public school system has a lot of problems that result from it's being removed from the people it serves and run by government bureaucrats. School systems need to be returned to the communities and individuals they serve. Schools would make dramatic improvements if only we would allow them. Schools would be better positioned to fund raise, get alumni involvement and support and innovate if we opened them up. Instead we have liberals crying foul that there has to be equality and fairness. Is it fair to have a failing school system? Is the system fair and equal now? Why not make the school system stronger for everyone and worry about schools that struggle or aren't getting enough resources rather than sustaining a system in which everyone is condemned to mediocrity. A system where students and parents were able to choose the school they wanted to go to and could get involved is the way to go. Why do we allow a system where only the wealthy have schools they can be proud of and where only the wealthy can choose between different schools and give money and make sure their children get the very best education? These parents with resources are the very ones we want in an inclusive school system. Charter schools is a start, but we should be going the distance for our kids!

Look at the success of Non-profit organizations, volunteer groups and charities. Look at the effectiveness that individuals and communities can have when they take responsibility for their communities and the world around them. The Nature Conservancy, Amnesty International, and Habitat for Humanity are just a few examples of the tremendous power and influence individuals can make wen they work together to shape the world around them. Get involved!

We are still the leader of the free world. We must free out minds and take responsibility back for making this country and the world great. There are many challenges, lots of promise, and many adventures yet to come. We the people must rise to answer the call.

VOTE! Let politicians know you are tired of the lies and the Clinton Chinese Socialist Liberal Party running government.
