A Brief note about this site: This site was created for two main reasons.
1) I want to share my life, my ideas and my dedication and focus on the extraordinary, whether it be extraordinary books or music or places to go see and experience. I want to encourage exceptional pursuits. I always seek to better understand and explore the world. Along with the journey there are also a lot of changes that are so important and can be made to make the world a better place. Some of them are clear cut right and wrong and some of them have shades and sides to them and are more complicated. But all of them are worth doing, whether it be creating more places to walk and hike and bike or protecting human rights or making sure our economy will be sound for the future and our political system is working to safeguard our rights and responsibilities. I'm going to make these goals happen and want anyone else who cares enough to join the Team.
2) The internet is a vast desert wasteland. It's time consuming and frustrating to navigate and mostly it's a heap of junk. Well, I want my site to be a place where you can enjoy some of my favorite pursuits and link to other great sites for interesting and original content. I want to help drive you right to the heart of what's interesting original and worthwhile. I hope you'll help support this effort and contribute some of your own energy to both causes!
